Tasting Notes
Intense pink in color, it opens on the nose with aromas of berries and ripe fruit, complemented by hints of yeast and crusty bread. On the palate, it is refined and elegant, with exceptional acidity and full body, perfectly balanced by its medium-high sugar content.
Cultivation
Hand-harvested during the second half of August.
Vinification
Gentle pressing with must fractioning, followed by steel-vat fermentation. Brief Pinot Nero skin contact enhances aroma and color. The cuvée is assembled the spring after harvest with 5% reserve wine (aged one year in steel). Secondary fermentation occurs in bottle.
Aging
Maturation on the lees for a minimum of 24 months, followed by an additional 2 months after disgorgement and filtration.

Berlucchi, founded in 1961 by Count Guido Berlucchi and winemaker Franco Ziliani, pioneered Franciacorta as Italy’s first traditional-method, bottle-fermented sparkling wine, establishing a legacy of innovation that continues today. Each glass reflects uncompromising quality, crafted under some of the world’s strictest standards for yields and aging, while estate vineyards are certified organic and sustainability is promoted across all partners. Led now by the children of Ziliani, Berlucchi combines luxury and precision with environmental stewardship, producing sparkling wines that celebrate both the region’s heritage and a forward-looking commitment to excellence.
