Decanter

Berlucchi, founded in 1961 by Count Guido Berlucchi and winemaker Franco Ziliani, pioneered Franciacorta as Italy’s first traditional-method, bottle-fermented sparkling wine, establishing a legacy of innovation that continues today. Each glass reflects uncompromising quality, crafted under some of the world’s strictest standards for yields and aging, while estate vineyards are certified organic and sustainability is promoted across all partners. Led now by the children of Ziliani, Berlucchi combines luxury and precision with environmental stewardship, producing sparkling wines that celebrate both the region’s heritage and a forward-looking commitment to excellence.
