Vinification

Moscato d'Asti is produced by gentle pressing with must kept cold to preserve aromas. Slow fermentation in an autoclave creates fine CO bubbles, giving its signature effervescence while retaining natural fragrance and sweetness.

For six generations, Marcarini has cultivated estate-owned vineyards in some of La Morra’s most prized sites, including La Serra and Brunate, where steep slopes, diverse soils, optimal sun exposure, and distinct microclimates yield wines of remarkable character while supporting thoughtful, sustainable farming. A pioneer of single-vineyard bottlings as early as the 1950s, Marcarini continues to highlight the individuality of its crus, including the historic Boschi di Berri vineyard, home to over 150-year-old pre-phylloxera Dolcetto vines. Rooted in a “classic” philosophy that seamlessly blends tradition and modern precision, the family carries forward its legacy in an eighteenth-century winery and underground cellars ideally suited for long, traditional élevage.
