Tasting Notes
Garnet red with ruby highlights, the wine expresses a pure, unmasked Nebbiolo nose of flowers, red fruits, and spice, followed by a dry, balanced, and harmonious palate with a velvety texture and a pleasant tannic finish.
Cultivation
Free-standing espalier with Guyot pruning
Vinification
Fermentation at 25°C enhances aromatics while preserving the fruit’s finesse. After malolactic fermentation, Nebbiolo ages solely in stainless steel, maintaining its varietal elegance and a taut, fresh, and precise profile.

For six generations, Marcarini has cultivated estate-owned vineyards in some of La Morra’s most prized sites, including La Serra and Brunate, where steep slopes, diverse soils, optimal sun exposure, and distinct microclimates yield wines of remarkable character while supporting thoughtful, sustainable farming. A pioneer of single-vineyard bottlings as early as the 1950s, Marcarini continues to highlight the individuality of its crus, including the historic Boschi di Berri vineyard, home to over 150-year-old pre-phylloxera Dolcetto vines. Rooted in a “classic” philosophy that seamlessly blends tradition and modern precision, the family carries forward its legacy in an eighteenth-century winery and underground cellars ideally suited for long, traditional élevage.
