TASTING NOTES:
Drop the champagne, pick up the ’61 Brut. Save yourself the trouble of figuring out what Cava is worth $20 and pay up for a world class sparkling wine from a region created by this cuvee (Franciacorta was started by this winery in 1961).

James Suckling – 91 pts
Robert Parker – 90 pts
TASTING NOTES:
A fan favorite, this classic method sparkling has wild berries on the nose and an amazing zip of acidity on the palate. ‘61 is a tribute to the year 1961 when Berlucchi pioneered the now famous wine region of Franciacorta.

’61 Nature 2012
PRESS:
Wine Enthusiast – 94 pts
Wine Spectator – 92 pts
James Suckling – 92 pts
Antonio Galloni – 91 pts
TASTING NOTES:
Non-dossage. So, bone dry and very precise. Lifted and vibrant this wine is super serious for those that geek out on grower champagne, but if you just want to be the cool kid at the party take this bottle and impress wine loving friends!
Producer: Tenuta Argentiera
Tenuta Argentiera
Poggio ai Ginepri 2020
TASTING NOTES:
Impossible to find a better Super Tuscan at this price… intense red fruits with layers of spice, red flowers, and slight balsamic notes. Round and complex but elegant tannins.
Tenuta Argentiera
Villa Donaratico 2019
PRESS:
James Sucklings – 93 pts
Wine Spectator – 90 pts
TASTING NOTES:
Rich, opulent, and forward on fruit. Punches above its weight for body, structure, and density. A full bodied, powerful red from Bolgheri that many Super Tuscans aspire to be.
Tenuta Argentiera
Bolgheri Superiore 2018
PRESS:
James Suckling – 96 pts
Wine Spectator – 91 pts
TASTING NOTES:
Deep ruby red color with a nose expressing complex cherry, plum, and spice tones on a backbone of leather, black pepper, and almonds. Mint and eucalyptus sponsor the spice tones coming from perfect Cabernet Franc vines while sweet tobacco leaf notes offer depth supported by vanilla and toffee oak notes.
Producer: Val delle Rose
Val delle Rose
Litorale Vermentino 2021
TASTING NOTES:
Its color is pale yellow with light golden hues, has a very intense fruity aroma of summer ripe fruit. On the palate there is an important aromatic note combined with a pleasant persistence. It is a generous and intense wine with great structure and freshness.
Val Delle Rose
Aurelio Maremma Toscana 2017
PRESS:
James Suckling – 93 pts
TASTING NOTES:
This is a big wine… jam packed with intense flavors thanks to a warm growing region and great attention to detail in the cellar. Oak aged for a long time, this wine has a dark color in the glass, shows strong character on the nose from intense fruit and wood.
Producer: Villa Cerna
Villa Cerna
Chianti Classico Riserva 2016
PRESS:
Decanter – 97 pts
Wine Spectator – 93 pts
Robert Parker – 91 pts
TASTING NOTES:
The Villa Cerna Chianti Classico Riserva has floral aromas, and its harmony is the result of the balance between acidity, tannins and alcohol.

Borgo del Tiglio
Friulano Ronco della Chiesa 2019
TASTING NOTES:
The most serious of the wines from the cellar. Intense, clean varietal character with slightly tropical notes pushed by toffee, pear, and almond.
Finca Torremilanos
Clarete 2020
TASTING NOTES:
A throw back wine, paying tribute to how wines from the region were made 50 years ago. Light in style, honest, and true to varietal. Complex and ethereal on the palate with serious layers and depth.
